We live for the scream.

You know the house. The one with the fog rolling off the porch, the skeleton waving from the upstairs window, and a queue of kids daring each other to ring the bell. ScareEm exists to help you be that house.

We keep the range small on purpose. Every prop, light and costume in the shop is one we'd put on our own porch — and we write down what it actually does, including the parts that are merely fine.

How we choose

• It has to work from the sidewalk

  A prop that looks great in a product photo but vanishes at 20 feet in the dark doesn't make the cut. We judge everything at trick-or-treat distance.

• Flame-free lighting only

  Every candle, lantern and jack-o'-lantern we sell is LED. Costumes brush past porches and kids lean in close — real flames and Halloween don't mix.

• Honest about batteries and power

  We tell you exactly what each item needs to run and whether batteries are included, so nothing is dark on the night because of a missing pack of AAs.

• Built to come back next year

  Folds flat, stakes in firmly, survives a rainy week. Halloween should be a collection you add to, not a landfill run on 1 November.

How we ship

Orders leave the warehouse within 1–3 business days and usually arrive in 3–10. Shipping is free over $75. Everything has a 30-day return window, and anything that lights up or moves carries a 1-year guarantee.
